First Day of Kindergarden!

Sarah's first day of Kindergarden! It was raining cats and dogs so we did not get too many pics at the bus stop since we had to wait in our car-boo! Sarah wanted to wait outside like the big kids but thankfully all the kids were in their cars with their parents! She got on the bus with a little trepidation but got to school ok. She got lost in the hall on the way to her class and was a little tearful but then was ok. I was the one who got teary in the hallway when I saw her in class! She rode the bus home with her friend Cassidy and was so excited to tell us all about her day! Glad she did great and that she is excited to go to school tomorrow!

Sandbridge...Labor day weekend!

We had a fun day at the beach on Sunday of Labor day weekend. We went with Kat, Rich, Henry, Carol Ann, Miles, and Camilla. Sarah loved the beach and was excited since we had not been to the beach this summer! She did not want to come out of the water!!!

yellow belt test

Sarah took her test for her Yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do on 09/03/09 and was so proud of herself when she was able to earn her first color belt! Way to go Sarah!!! It was a year of hard work and effort but she did it!

Sarah's birthday 2009

We had a great time at Sarah's birthday party at the Suffolk YMCA pool. Sarah had a lot of fun with all of her friends. The theme was Hannah Montana (not my choice!) and the cupcake cake was awesome! We had snacks and juiceboxes and the kids barely wanted to sit down to eat. Thank goodness for adult swim! After the party Beff, Tom, Rufus, Grandma Martha, Byron, and I watched Sarah open the pile of presents. She thought that each gift was some thing that she had "always wanted". It was quite cute. After the gifts, Beff, Tom, Rufus, Sarah and I went to get some dinner at the Mexican restraunt where Sarah got the sombrero treatment because I told them it was her birtday! What a great time was had by all. Now we have to get through her actual birthday, July 1!!

Fun Weekend at BeffTom's

Weekend of fun!

We had a great weekend. We spent Friday and Saturday night with Parker, Brian, Ellie, and Elisabeth in Richmond and enjoyed hanging out with them. The girls are cute and Sarah and I found out that babysitting twin toddlers is not easy. More power to Parker and Brian!! Then we came home and went to Sarah Phillips' birthday party. The Sarahs loved seeing each other as it had been a year since they had gotten to see each other. We will not let that much time pass again before getting them together!
